Jog-A-Thon

Date:  Wednesday, April 26, 2023

Time:  Arrive at 8:30 to warm-up, jogging will begin at 9am

Where:  IVA Elementary, 1 Liberty, Irvine, 92620. Our event will take place on the grass field in the back of our campus. 

Parking: 

- Street parking on Liberty or Bull Run and then enter around the front of the school. 

- Street parking on Mayflower or Lafayette and then cross Silkwood Park to enter the blacktop through the back gate. 

Additional Details:

• For those students who are not coming in-person, we encourage your child to do something active during that time (practice a sport, ride a bike, etc.). 
• You can email Mr. Warren videos of them doing so (jeffreywarren@iusd.org) and they will be added to a school-wide video. And for those of you who are unable to make it, you can come to our office to pick up your child's t-shirt from 7:45-3:15 M-F beginning on Thursday, April 27. 
• Each student will get an official Jog-A-Thon t-shirt
• Water will be provided during their run time. 
• Snacks and juice will be provided for each student after their run time. 
• Yogurtland will be provided for every student! 
• And if our Dragons bring enough energy and excitement, then the event will end with our students throwing water balloons at Mr. Warren!! Parent volunteers will support water balloon filling and IA’s will be on campus for additional support as well
• Students will finish and return home to be able to join their music Zoom classes by 10:40.
